My identity as a writing teacher

 

    I am Logamani from Tamilnadu.  I am handling class 3. As a writing teacher,  I can write essay and stories. I am able to write the main idea of the text. I can write legibly, neatly with correct punctuation marks.

              As a writing teacher, usually l give more chances to my children to write words and simple sentences on the blackboard. By giving picture charts l make them to write words and simple sentences about the picture.

            I make my children to write with correct spelling and punctuation marks.In each  period I give more than 15 minutes for writing practice. While I am preparing the lesson plan, what are the things I am going to give for writing, when am going to give  everything l will prepare. According to that l follow my regular classes. 

            While they are writing, l make them to spell and write. So that they can avoid spelling mistakes. For the good handwriting l make them to write in four lines note book regularly. For developing their interest in writing I give opportunities to them to write self introduction  , about their likes and dislikes, some descriptioms about the objects.

            I give more important for sentence making by giving jumbled words. I help my children those who are struggling in vocabularies. For more writing I enrich their vocabularies by learning one or two vocabularies daily. When they are writing question and answer I  follow the dictation method. I won't give many copy writing home work instead of that I give opportunities for their creativity and their own ideas.

           I wish to give more writing practices in the class itself.l like to make them to feel writing is an easy and interesting thing. While I am giving writing practice  l must consider about the slow writers as well as the fast writers . According to their level I reduce the writing content. I will be very concentrate on whether every individual is writing or not. Some time I ask my children to draw something and write few words about it. 

    I wish I can be a good writer. I can develop good writing skill among the students.
